About Gema Isya

Passionate UX Enthusiast | Recent Informatics Graduate | Eager to Craft Exceptional Digital Experiences

Welcome to my profile!

As a Designer, I am driven by a profound passion for creating user-centric digital experiences. During my academic journey, I developed a strong foundation in human-computer interaction, user interface design, and usability testing, which ignited my enthusiasm for the dynamic field of User Experience.

**My Journey So Far**

During my time at the University of Brawijaya, I had the privilege of working on a variety of projects that honed my skills in designing and optimizing user interfaces. Whether it was conducting user research to identify pain points or meticulously crafting wireframes and prototypes, I relished every opportunity to contribute to seamless and engaging user experiences.

**Beyond Academics**

I believe that UX is not just a field of study but a mindset that extends beyond the classroom. I'm a firm believer in staying up-to-date with the latest UX trends, attending webinars, and participating in design challenges to refine my skills and keep my creative juices flowing.

**What's Next?**

As I embark on my professional journey, my goal is to collaborate with like-minded professionals and organizations that share my passion for user-centered design. I am eager to contribute my knowledge and creativity to projects that prioritize user satisfaction and accessibility.

**Let's Connect!**

I'm excited to connect with fellow UX enthusiasts, industry professionals, and anyone who shares an interest in creating outstanding digital experiences. Feel free to reach out, connect, or start a conversation. Let's learn, grow, and innovate together!

When it comes to applying a user experience (UX) approach to private tutoring, there are several methods and strategies that can enhance the learning experience for students. Here are some of my approaches that can be beneficial:

Hands-on Projects: Encourage students to engage in practical, hands-on projects that allow them to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios. This approach promotes active learning and helps students develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Critique & Feedback: Provide regular feedback and constructive criticism to students. This helps them identify areas for improvement and encourages them to reflect on their work. Feedback can be given through one-on-one sessions, written comments, or even peer evaluations.

Case Studies: Incorporate case studies into the tutoring sessions. Case studies provide real-life examples that students can analyze and learn from. They help students develop problem-solving skills and apply theoretical concepts to practical situations.

Pairing & Collaboration: Encourage students to work in pairs or small groups to foster collaboration and peer learning. This approach allows students to exchange ideas, discuss concepts, and learn from each other's perspectives. It also promotes teamwork and communication skills.

Design Thinking: Apply design thinking principles to the tutoring process. Design thinking involves understanding the needs and preferences of the students, empathizing with their challenges, and designing tailored learning experiences to meet their specific requirements.

These approaches can help create a more engaging and effective learning environment in private tutoring sessions. By incorporating UX principles, tutors can enhance the overall learning experience and facilitate better knowledge retention and application for their students.
