About Samit
I have a total of 5 years of Professional experience in Linux. I used to give classes to students in Linux whoever are showing interest towards this. Overall, it has been 3 years since I am distributing my Linux knowledge to students. Since, I have been in the professional field, I used to train students from beginner level to professional Linux system engineers.
The students which have been benefitted by my classes are now working as Linux system engineers in most of the big companies.

I have 5 years of experience in Linux and currently working as a DevOps engineer in a renowned software company. Linux is not a OS to learn. It is more than your friend.
The way I used to teach contains only 3 points:
1) Practical
2) Understand the practical with little or no theory
3) You can easily do the same thing which we did in first step with full confidence.
The classes will be very simple and funny, because learning something as a game is quite easy to understand with full interest. Let's take a small example, how I used to explain big things with simplicity.
Q: What is an OS?
A: If you search in Google, you will find something as "An operating system (OS) is system software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs. " But we are not going this way. The explanation will be short, crisp and simple:
OS is just a platform using which:
- you can talk to the inner soul of computer.
- you can ask questions to computer and they will answer via the OS
- OS will be a mediator between you and inner processing unit of computer. It is just our friend which help us in sending/getting data from computer.
There will be simple diagrams as well which will help you understand more easily.

The rates can be reduced also if the student is giving efforts in learning. I love to teach such students who are really interested in such things. In case, the student is having the basic knowledge of Linux, then I can provide him the advanced Linux classes along with Linux shell scripting, kernel modules, hosting setup and other system related stuff. There won't be any extra charge for that.
