About Irwin

I’m Irwin, an Indonesian student at USC Marshall studying Business Administration with a focus on finance. I have a 3.8 GPA, have been on the Dean’s List, and have received multiple merit scholarships from USC.

I enjoy helping students because I know what it feels like to figure things out from scratch, especially as an international student. I can help with college prep, essay brainstorming and editing, resume improvement, academic writing, finance basics, and communication skills.

I have taught financial literacy to high school students in Los Angeles, mentored transfer students at USC, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for a business communication class. My style is relaxed, honest, and practical. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions while still making real progress.

About the class

My lessons are practical, relaxed, and focused on what you actually need. I can help students with college preparation, finance basics, academic writing, essay brainstorming and editing, resume improvement, and clearer communication.

For college essays, I do not simply write the essay for you. Instead, I help you find your story, organize your ideas, make your writing sound more natural, and keep your own voice. For resumes, I can help you make your experience sound clearer, stronger, and more professional.

A typical lesson starts with understanding your goal, then we work together on a real assignment, essay, resume, or topic. My style is friendly and straightforward, so you can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve step by step.
