Hey there! I'm Ameera, just an average university student with a little bit of everything going on. Academics and intellectual activities like chess are my strong suits but I dabble in a lot of things. I love public speaking and debates, and you can often find me at Model UNs :). Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think. Everyone has different opinions and minds of their own and I believe it is important to tailor education to individual needs.
I am interested in teaching Mathematics up to Class 12, having scored a centum in Class 10 and 90%+ in Class 12. I am also comfortable working with students who need additional practice or support in building their confidence in Mathematics.
Having experience in teaching underprivileged and underperforming children, I believe me to be capable of breaking down quantitative concepts into simple and practical concepts for students.
As a university student studying Financial Mathematics and Economics, I have a strong interest in mathematics and enjoy finding practical ways to explain it. Since I am still a student myself, I understand that maths can sometimes feel confusing or intimidating and my job is to ease the confusion.
I also love making my classes interactive with activities to build a bond which opens up students to asking questions and exploring the field.
