Surabi's Dance Teaching Approach
Teaching Techniques and Methods:
I focus on a blend of traditional and contemporary methods to cater to all learning styles. My classes emphasize technique, creativity, and cultural appreciation. I incorporate visual aids, step-by-step breakdowns, and improvisation to make learning engaging and accessible.
Class Structure:
1. Warm-Up (10 minutes): We start with a dynamic warm-up to prepare our bodies and prevent injuries.
2. Technique Breakdown (20 minutes): I introduce key moves and sequences, ensuring everyone understands the fundamentals.
3. Choreography Practice (30 minutes): We work on a fun routine that combines elements from Bollywood, hip-hop, and classical styles, allowing students to express themselves.
4. Cool Down and Reflection (10 minutes): We conclude with a cool-down session and a group discussion, encouraging feedback and sharing experiences.
Special Features:
Personalized Attention: I offer individual feedback to help each student progress.
Cultural Insights: I share stories and backgrounds related to the dances, enriching the learning experience.
Inclusive Environment:My classes promote a supportive atmosphere, encouraging students to embrace their unique styles.
Target Audience:
My classes are designed for all ages—school children, college students, and adults. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, everyone is welcome to join and dance with joy!
