About Austin
Hi! I’m a first-year student at the University of York studying Mathematics. I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and helping others make sense of tricky concepts. I know how stressful exams can be, so I focus on helping students feel confident and calm when tackling questions. I’ve recently been through GCSEs and A-Levels myself receiving a 9 and an A*, so I understand the challenges and the best ways to prepare for success. I’m patient, friendly, and I love finding different ways to explain topics until they finally “click.” Outside of uni, I enjoy my sports, recently golf but previously a lot of rugby— but my main goal here is to help students actually enjoy learning maths!
