My knack for writing goes all the way back to the TAKS writing test in 4th grade and continues to this day. Beyond test scores and grades in undergrad, I've had essays published in nationally distributed campaigns and have worked professionally as a screenwriter & ghostwriter since graduating from UT Austin in the fall of 2022.
I love the nuances of language, and I strive to imbue my writings with subtleties and density of insight. The indelible education I received has allowed me to craft stories which have captivated attentions across the country; it is now an honor to be able to help students as they go on their own educational journey through high school and college.

I strongly believe that instruction cannot happen effectively until tutor and pupil have a clear understanding of the other. Our first session will begin with an in-depth conversation in order to build rapport and establish mutual understanding.
I ask that all students submit a previous assignment that has already been graded in addition to any present assignment with an upcoming deadline. Reviewing your work ahead of our session allows me to tailor and shape the lesson according to your needs and requirements.
I am both goal and process oriented. Both are critical in creating sustainable methods for learning. We need to know where we're going, but we need to enjoy the journey, too. At the end of our first session, we will establish a timeline and goals that will create or reinforce good learning habits.
My approach is rigorous but flexible. I'm just as open to having a one-time flash session as I am to working with you over a grading period, semester, or longer.
My lessons are for: pre-AP, AP, IB and other advanced English classes in high school; lower & upper division undergraduate courses requiring essay writing.
