About Qiqi
Hello! I am a University of Surrey Mathematic graduate and now will be studying MSc Data Science in City, University of London.
Maths is not just a gateway subject for entering university or to success, the extent and diversity of mathematic application has reached almost all areas in modern science. Therefore, I want to be able to show the students how enjoyable, fun and magnificent maths can be.
As a student myself, I have recognised and adapted many different teaching styles through my education - by giving structured and tailored lesson with suited teaching styles, I hope the students will be able to enjoy the lessons, as well as tackled the problems.
I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and also achieved Grade 5 Piano qualification with ABRSM. Therefore, I am also very happy to tutor students in the respective areas.

Qiqi is a close friend who I met whilst studying undergraduate maths at Surrey University. I have known her for over 3 years and we have had many mathematical discussions, so I’m confident in saying she’s a great mathematician and can express herself well, meaning I know she would make a great tutor, especially as the level of maths she is tutoring is such that we are extremely fluent in it, due it’s daily use in more complex undergraduate problems. A final note is that she is very approachable and friendly, so a tutee would feel comfortable asking about anything they are unsure of.
