About Lucy
I am 19 years old, but still remember what it felt like in elementary/high school when I was behind, struggling or not doing well in a certain subject area. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to make students feel confident and comfortable in their skills and to use my experience and knowledge to provide as much insight as I can. I love working with kids, of any age, and I look forward to being of help to kids who need a little bit of help in their academic journey.

My goal as your tutor is to encourage you as a student and teach to your strengths, while also focusing on your weaknesses and enhancing your overall skills. I have a lot of experience with different subjects, as well as teaching younger kids. I love to work one-on-one with students and specialize in helping younger students enhance their basic skills in reading, writing, maths and sciences. I will usually start a lesson with a review from the previous lesson, and then provide some practice questions or quizzes for the students to complete. After seeing what they have done well and what they need to work on based on their practice, I will then spend the rest of the time focusing on the skills that need the most work.
