Hi! I'm a university lecturer and researcher specialising in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.
I've spent years working in academia, teaching and supervising students, and conducting research into how technology can help solve real-world problems. My work also involves collaborating with industry, so I enjoy bringing practical examples and experiences into my teaching.
One of the things I love most about my job is helping students have those lightbulb moments when something that seemed complicated suddenly makes sense!
I know that technical subjects can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you're just starting out. But I genuinely believe that with the right guidance, patience and a bit of curiosity, anyone can learn.
Outside of research, I'm passionate about education, technology and finding creative ways to make learning more engaging.

As a university lecturer and researcher specialising in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence, I've worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. One thing I've learnt is that everyone learns differently, so I always adapt my teaching to suit the individual.
My lessons are relaxed, interactive and focused on helping you actually understand the subject rather than simply memorising information. I like using real-world examples and practical exercises to make even the trickiest concepts easier to grasp.
Whether you're completely new to programming, struggling with a university module, preparing for exams or simply curious about AI and cybersecurity, I'm happy to help!
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I'm flexible depending on what you need. We can work through specific topics, tackle assignments together, practise technical skills or build your confidence in areas you're finding challenging.
Above all, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at your own pace.
