Hi, Alfie taught my son (age 14) guitar for a year or so. He found the lessons really great and fun, and I could trust Alfie to act professionally throughout each session. My son enjoyed the lessons (which is unusual for him) and managed to pick it up quite quickly through Alfie's teaching. Alfie taught me guitar and musical theory last year whilst I was at university. His lessons were very fun but he was also incredibly patient with me. The lessons advanced my musical knowledge and practical ability - something I'd been looking forward to learn for a very long time. Alfie is honestly an amazing tutor and I can't recommend him enough! If you're looking to start guitar from scratch or develop your skills he really is perfect and very approachable!

Alfie taught me guitar for around six months last year - he quickly brought me up to speed with all the basic chords and strumming patterns. Then was able to teach me plucking and sight-reading Tabs and chords so that I can independently play now. He is a brilliant teacher, patient when I kept getting it wrong but also very enthusiastic - motivating me when I need it. His lessons were very engaging and clear with a level of understanding that I’d have expected from a professional teacher. He is also understanding with lesson cancellations and rearranging - very very flexible. Overall he was one of the best teachers I’ve met and certainly a very professional guitar play and teacher - highly recommend!!!
