About Casey

I'm Casey, a University of Florida graduate with a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Florida State University.

I have experience working with children in both school and clinical settings, helping them develop their communication, language, and learning skills. Through these experiences, I've learned the importance of making learning enjoyable while still helping students reach their goals.

I am passionate about working with children and love finding creative ways to make learning fun! I'm patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping each student feel confident in their abilities. My goal is for students to feel supported, enjoy our time together, and leave each session feeling proud of what they've accomplished.

About the class

My approach to tutoring is to make learning fun, engaging, and effective! I believe students learn best when they enjoy what they are doing, so I incorporate interactive activities, games, and creative teaching strategies into my lessons while still focusing on their academic goals.

Every student learns differently, which is why I individualize each session based on their strengths, needs, and learning styles. A typical lesson includes reviewing previously learned material, introducing or practicing new skills, and using engaging activities to reinforce important concepts.

With my background in Communication Sciences and Disorders and experience working with elementary-aged children, I understand the importance of building confidence while developing academic skills. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students look forward to their sessions, feel comfortable making mistakes, and make meaningful progress.
