He also ran practical workshops covering lighting placement, equipment maintenance, set construction, and simulated bump-in and bump-out procedures, giving students valuable hands-on industry experience.

He was also happy to recommend camera gear and equipment based on each student's interests, whether they were pursuing documentary filmmaking, corporate video production, content creation, or narrative filmmaking.
