My name is Rupert. I went to Hampton School before heading off to Edinburgh for University. In my time at school, university and playing semi-professional rugby I have learnt the importance of good teachers and the value each has had on me personally. Recognising what has worked in my experience, I take pride in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their skills. My approach to tutoring is highly personalised and results-driven. I begin by identifying each student's strengths, challenges, and preferred learning style, then adapt my teaching accordingly in a structured manner. Lessons will typically run for 60 minutes, during which time we will review material, introduce new concepts, and reinforce understanding through guided exercises. I hold a degree in History and have experience tutoring students from being a cricket coach. My sessions are open for children from all ages whether they’re preparing for entrance exams for schools at 11+ or 13+, GCSEs, and A-Levels or aiming just to excel beyond the curriculum!
