About Bogdan
I’m Bogdan — a University of Cambridge Astrophysics graduate and current UCL PhD researcher in Galactic Astrophysics, where I work with leading scientists including Prof. Vasily Belokurov and Dr. Jason Sanders. I bring that same clarity, discipline, and high standards into every tutoring session. My lessons are calm, professional, and results-focused. We build strong fundamentals first, then move into higher-grade problem solving with clear methods you can reuse, plenty of guided practice, and straightforward exam technique (how to set out answers, pick up method marks, and avoid common mistakes). I tailor every session to your goals and pace, and I’m happy to provide structured practice between lessons when helpful. Outside of academics, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning — I love maths and physics, and when I’m not working I’m usually snowboarding or playing volleyball. I find that enthusiasm is contagious, and it helps students stay motivated and believe they can do well.

Cambridge Astrophysics graduate and current UCL PhD student, I tutor GCSE Maths & Physics with a focus on building confidence and exam-ready problem solving. My approach is simple and structured: we start with a quick check of what you already know, then I explain the key idea clearly, work through a couple of examples together, and finish with targeted practice questions so you can apply the method independently. I also teach mark-scheme strategy: how to set out solutions, show working, and avoid common traps. A typical lesson is 60 minutes (90 minutes available if you prefer). After each session, you’ll leave with a short, personalised plan: what to practise, what to review, and what we’ll tackle next. Lessons are for GCSE students (Foundation or Higher), especially those aiming for grades 8–9 or wanting steady support throughout the year. I tailor the pace to you—whether you need help with fundamentals or stretching to the hardest questions.
