About Alibha

I have just finished my A levels (Maths, Physics and Further Maths) and am taking a gap year now, before starting my 'Mathematics and Physics' course at the University of Warwick in the next academic year.
Since I have previous experience as a private tutor and from working in a tuition centre, both for more than two years, I am familiar with having to find innovative ways of explaining concepts so the student can understand, even when it feels like we've hit a roadblock.
I believe maths isn't something one can memorise; only when we understand why we take certain steps to answer a question and how they work can we fully understand the topic and be confident with other similar questions. While I enjoy doing this and solving maths problems myself, helping others find the same clarity gives me immense satisfaction, which is why I decided to tutor other students.

About the class

Having achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE and A* in A Level, I can teach GCSE and A Level Maths during 1 hour long sessions.
Once the student chooses the topics they struggle with, we typically start by identifying which parts the student is already confident with. Building up from there, I explain concepts they struggle with, and we tackle relevant questions until they master the topic.
