About Navya
I am a Computer Science undergrad, currently in my third year of university. As an older sibling, I have been tutoring my entire life! However, my formal experience began as an after-school tutor in high school because I genuinely enjoyed helping classmates and juniors gain clarity with concepts they found daunting, and five years later I still do.
I founded my school's Data Science Club, built a full CS curriculum for an educational platform that went on to secure investor funding, and have been delivering private sessions in Computer Science and Further Mathematics since 2021. Teaching is not just something I fell into. Five years in, it has become an integral part of my identity.

Computer Science has a reputation for being dry. It doesn't have to be. I have been tutoring CS and Mathematics privately in Dubai since high school, and plenty of students have said they 'just aren't a tech person.' Usually, they are. They just needed someone to explain it differently.
I am currently studying CS at the undergraduate level, so this is not a subject I left behind at school. Sessions run for one hour and I prefer to build each one around the student, not the textbook. Where do you want clarity? That is where we start.
I am a big believer in the benefits of frequent practice using recall. Good notes can be crucial, but it is through frequent practice and feedback that we achieve perfection.
