About Kane
I am an Economics student at the University of Birmingham,I achieved A*,A,A at A-level and have a passion for Business and Economics. I have taught for just over a year and have completed over 400 hours worth of tutoring both online and in person. My students will see great improvement in not only their grades but also their confidence. I will be a tutor there to help at any stage. Having only completed my A-levels two years ago, I understand the structure and syllabus of my subjects to a significant extent and can sympathise with the difficulties that students face and can support them in the best possible way.

A student-centered approach focusing on the core skills of a certain qualification and minimising gaps in content and knowledge. Lessons will be tailored to relevant topics and a multitude of methods will be deployed in order to maximise engagement and progression from students. For instance, a typical lesson will last 1 hour, say we are covering a specific Economic/Business topic, the first part of the lesson will be to break down the topic and discover the gaps. Next, I teach the missing content or any misunderstanding, this is likely to be rectified by going through the content step by step and supporting with either diagrams, case studies or data. At the end of the lesson, I will ask the student questions and consolidate the topics/skills learnt and do the same at the start of the following lesson. Of course, in some cases several lessons may be required for a larger topic though my style will remain consistent in delivering results I.e progression and improvements from my students.
