About Max
Studying maths and further maths at A-Level has furthered my interest in and enthusiasm for maths. Having achieved an A* in both maths and further maths at A-Level (at 97% and 94% respectively) and 9s in maths and further maths at GCSE, I am familiar and confident with the course content. Through tutoring, I wish to spread this enthusiasm to others and teach them that maths can be enjoyable. However, I appreciate that maths isn’t for everyone yet is such a vital qualification and so through tutoring I wish to allow people to progress onto the next stages of their life with a valid, even impressive, maths qualification.

My approach will consist of sessions that are tailored to the needs of the student, adapting lesson plans based on areas of weakness. I offer tutoring mainly for GCSE and A-Level maths and further maths however can tutor younger students as well. Having achieved a grade 9 in both maths and further maths at GCSE and A*s i both at A-Level, I am familiar with the specification/course requirements. Sessions will be largely interactive and example-based with resources being provided to the student that we will work through together. Standard lessons will last 1 hour however this can be adapted to meet the needs of the student if necessary.
