My name is Jess Wright and I would like to help you become confident in both your academic and personal life through understanding the English language and literary canon. Not only can I help you become an articulate writer and calm in exam situations, but also be comfortable speaking in public. The transferable skills that come from being tutored in English can be applied to every aspect of your life and aid in future employability. As I have recently sat exams, I relate strongly to any anxieties surrounding this and will provide excellent advice for both literary and psychological preparedness with the utmost professionalism.

Hello,
my name is Jess Wright and I am an undergraduate university student studying English Literature and Creative Writing. I am dedicated to providing my students with an exceptional learning environment and exploring their potential with patience and a positive attitude.
I have received grades 9 and 8 in English Literature and Language at GCSE, and AAB results for A-levels English literature and language, History and Classical civilisation whilst also tutoring reading skills for younger students.
My teaching methods involve activities such as mind mapping, essay planning and exam advice. As every student learns differently, I tailer my lessons to how they will thrive best, whether through visual or auditory aids.
The lessons will be 1 hour long and the first shall be free. I teach students from the ages 11-18 in both GCSE' and A-levels'.
I guarantee that the student's confidence in their literary abilities will grow after each lessons and they will become calm when they sit exams in the future.
