I was born in China. After finishing high school there, I went to the United States for my undergraduate studies. After working in Beijing for a year, I came to Sydney to pursue my master’s degree. I plan to work in Sydney after graduation. My native language is Chinese. I have very little accent — most people can’t tell where I’m from because I only speak standard Mandarin. My English is also quite strong — I scored 109 out of 120 on the TOEFL. I communicate well with friends who were born in Australia. Having studied in both the U.S. and Australia, I have an international mindset. I hold no prejudice and enjoy connecting with people from all cultures. During my undergraduate studies, I also had teaching experience and discovered my passion for teaching.
