About ANDREW
I am a South African multi talented and experienced sociology graduate who has a Postgrad degree in sociology. I received a number of bursaries whilst studying at university and have many years teaching experience. I enjoy helping others progress and excel in their studies. I try to meet people where they are at and work off a common foundation. I have worked in many different sectors since graduating and have learned to apply my studies to various work environments.
I am also a creative who loves research and a good book!
I have a sense of humour and love a good laugh.

I teach with the base of knowledge my students already have. I follow the questions students have to cover and all the foundations needed. Specific challenging areas are noted and given attention. Exam requirements are the goal as well as skill needed to gain and exceptional grade. I teach from my own experiences as a student who passed cum laude with commendation, as well as knowing current trends and approaches.
I am proficient in English.
A typical lesson includes covering the outcome required, key questions, the body of text required and tips for mastering the topic.
Students at all levels can benefit.
The structure of the lesson is established around the understanding of the needs and understanding of the student, setting goals and adapted to the students learning style.
