UCLA Graduate in Psychobiology with an extensive background in tutoring and K-12 work, currently teaching English as a Second Language with over 100 students taught.

Yashvi was one of the most dedicated students I met in my time at ucla. Her determination and vast knowledge made her a great study buddy and we’d challenge eachother to master material by teaching eachother and reviewing course materials for exams. She always had an interesting way of knowing when our study method wasn’t working and we’d need to switch to a new way of approaching the material, something I found amazing and exciting about our meetings at the biomed library. Her kindness also made it difficult to get defeated, as her reassuring and understanding nature made stressful deadlines seem far away and tangible if I only kept working. It goes without saying she also encouraged reward and rest, a great factor in retention that made treats or sleep feel more deserved. Just witnessing these aspects of her approach to learning and success assure me that she will prove an excellent teacher and a trustworthy employee at your company. Yashvi is an exceptional tutor and the biggest cheerleader for her students. She always speaks about tutoring with such excitement and care for her students. I have known her and her passion for teaching ever since high school, when she taught her peers biology with patience and dedication, saying she felt honored to have the responsibility of helping someone understand a difficult topic, and that she would do everything in her power to do justice by her duty toward them.
