About Evie
I am a young secondary school student with very high academic ability. However, I believe without a kind, caring teacher my talent wouldn't have been recognized. I would love to be that for someone, knowing that I changed their perception of themselves. One of the most dangerous things in life is beliefs. Believe you can't do it, you're right. Believe you can, you're also right. If kids don't have hope in themselves improvement is difficult. They sometimes need someone else to believe in them first. I can help with that.

I like to go for a newer approach. I know as a student that putting too much pressure on kids will make them close up. For learning you need an open mind and a safe space, and that will be nurtured through a non-hostile environment. It's better if kids don't understand to take a step back to what they understand. It's natural to enjoy things you are good at, and if they understand school they will grow to enjoy work more, giving them a healthy relationship with academics and studying.
