Howard Gardner had the theory of Multiple Intelligences, which is a cornerstone of Progressive Educational Theory. Students learn in a variety of ways. It is the job of the teacher to present material in a variety of ways, to encourage comprehension and retention. And most importantly: have fun while learning. Learning should never be boring.
