About Lily

Hi! My name is Lily. I am French-American, but I have lived in the US, Switzerland, the UK, and Japan. I have taught for about 5 years, and I've always been involved with students, from editing the school newspaper to leading the largest international business mentorship programme. I have interned at several newspapers, so I truly love reading, writing, and researching. My students appreciate my flexibility, passion, and dedication. I am very understanding because I've lived abroad my whole life, but I also strive for perfection. I will do my absolute best to help you reach your goals :)

I have a lot of experience tutoring students from ages 8-21. I have taught students online in Cambodia, Korea, Japan, and the United States. As such, I am super flexible and adaptable! I don't always assign homework, depending on the lesson type, but I always prepare exercises and materials you can take home to review. My lessons are usually 1 hour, but I have done 2. I usually meet on a weekly basis. I have helped a range of students; they have gotten into university, reached a basic level of English, excelled at exams, and more. I have also worked professionally in journalism, so I can help with professional and creative writing. Again, I am very flexible with all types of students, schedules, and goals.
