About Ana Paula
My experience as a teacher started in 2018, but I started teaching Hatha Yoga in group classes in Canada in 2020 where for 8 months I was Karma Yogi (volunteer) at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Camp. Since my formation, my priority has been the private lessons of this traditional Hatha Yoga practice, with home and online assistance.

My Hatha Yoga class consists of stretching and strengthening the global muscles, joint flexibility (ASANA), breathing exercises (PRANAYAMA), meditative exercises (DHYANA) and relaxation (SAVASANA). These practices enhance the body, develop control over mental states such as anxiety and stress and, thus, promote the healing of being. I am graduated and have diplomas by Aliança Yoga with specialization in Yoga for seniors and / or people with any type of limitation adapting the postures for everyone. I am also a student of Ayurveda and I try to include these teachings in practice bringing philosophy and knowledge to the practice of Yoga. Yoga is not about reaching your feet with your hands, standing on your head or putting on a perfect asana, but about the process of reaching your feet with your hands, standing on your head or putting on a perfect asana, because in the process , we are not just working our physical body. The moment we move our physical body (dense) in the practice of yoga, we also move our energetic (subtle) body, because everything we do physically reflects energetically. The way we deal with the facilities and difficulties during the practice of yoga serves to reflect on our postures in the facilities and difficulties of all instances of our lives. Thus, the practice of yoga, more than strengthening, flexibilizing and balancing the body, strengthens, flexibilizes and balances the mind.
