About Melanie
I myself have learning disabilities and have worked hard to develop tools unique to my learning style. It can be discouraging when hours of studying feel futile and advice from professors does not seem to click. But not to worry! Everyone has the potential of understanding and succeeding, all it takes is a personalized approach. I have tutored in calculus in the past and am currently a Biology 1 mentor as part of UF’s Student-Led Academic Peer Study Program, and I have seen my strategies work for many students.
