About Stephen
I have an excellent track record of helping students progress and feel more comfortable with Mathematics. Subsequently, improving both their academic results and understanding. This is true across a broad range of grade levels, abilities, language levels and curricula.
I have been teaching/tutoring mathematics for more than 20 years and over this time I have developed many techniques and approaches to assist my students, both online and face to face.
In addition to my extensive teaching/tutoring experience I also have a first class BSc degree in Pure Mathematics, a Masters degree in Mathematical Education and several awards for mathematical excellence.
Mathematics is a fantastic adventure, although sometimes we require a specialist guide to assist us through the maze, as such, I always put my students and their individual needs at the centre of the tutoring process.

I am an expert in encouraging and supporting students to engage in identifying any areas of misunderstanding or discomfort and then offer personalised instruction specific to their identified needs.
I specialise in assisting students fulfil their true and full potential, especially concerning formal externally assessed examinations (GCSE/IGCSE, IB DP, A-Levels, etc), although I am equally passionate in assisting all of my students to improve. Over the past 20+ years of teaching/tutoring I have helped 100's of students online and 1,000's of students face to face, from all corners of the World.
My role is to help all students to succeed and typically lessons will last for a full hour. However, due to the ever changing government guidelines these sessions will currently most likely be conducted online.
