About Sarah
I hold a Master's degree in Psychology - Behavioral Neuroscience and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing. I frequently publish at major news sites and magazines like Psychology Today, Free Inquiry, and more. I am mainly a mental health activist and creative producer and I write screenplays, science, and literary articles. My work has won awards and prestigious conference scholarships. In the initial meeting, we will go over goals, expectations, and the duration for which you want to meet (in weeks/months/hours). We might start initially on a first lesson to get you thinking about the tutoring to come.
I've worked with students anywhere from the 8th grade to college level.
Make sure to look for teachers who will show you how to build sustainable skills that can be grown over time. Without a foundational structure to school and work, you will simply be left to continue to pouring out empty money for sessions that won't help you in the long run.
I'm pleased to say that I graduated with my first Master's in Behavioral Neuroscience in December 2021 and I applied for a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing to begin the Fall of 2022.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The students should really have a good skill of self reflection and self knowledge in order to identify gaps in the student's knowledge and what they are supposed to know. It is up to the student to be up front and communicate about his/her struggles, and it's important to be very honest about what you need work on.
