As a private tutor, my approach to teaching is student-centered and personalized. I believe that every student has unique needs and learning styles, so I adapt my lessons accordingly. I am proficient in both English, and Afrikaans. I am able to teach in both of these languages, depending on the student's needs and preferences.
In a typical lesson with me, students can expect to practice all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) in a balanced and structured way. We will start with a warm-up activity or review of previous material, followed by a presentation of new grammar or vocabulary, and then move on to practice activities, such as role-plays, discussions, or exercises. We will also focus on pronunciation and intonation.
My lessons are aimed at students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. I also work with students who have specific goals, such as traveling, studying abroad, or improving their job prospects.
