About Ayse
As a 28 year old who has travelled and lived in lots of different countries in the world, I am greatly thankful to my English speaking, reading and writing skills. They have made it possible for me to study abroad, find jobs abroad, meet people from different cultures and countries, travel in places where I did not know anyone or anything, and much more. I would love to help others to improve their English so that they can achieve their goals and dreams as well, as learning this language might be helpful for that.

TEFL certified. As I have been both a language student and teacher before, I have developed both the understanding and the skills necessary to provide tailored, suitable English lessons. I believe that most progress can be made by practising the language and speaking as much as possible. I will focus on basic grammar but mainly try to match the content of the lessons with your wishes and needs. The main aspect for me in order to find out if I would be the right tutor for you, is the importance of feeling comfortable with each other. It is crucial to me that the space I provide you to speak, ask questions and make mistakes feels safe and positive. My lessons are targeted at beginners/intermediate English speakers, no preferences on age groups. I have both worked as a one-on-one tutor, teaching high school/college subjects, as well as being a teacher in a group setting, teaching refugees and Italian locals the basics of English in a more dynamic setting. I prefer to use playful and dynamic teaching methods rather than formal, 'following the courseguide page by page' methods. The main reason for this is that I personally have experienced the biggest improvements in my learning process when the dynamic, informal teaching methods made me enjoy the lessons, resulting in me being more actively involved and motivated in the lessons.
