About Cedric
I have been training high school students since 2018 on math-related subjects such as functions, algebra, calculus, data management, math contests, and qualitative analysis such as business case analysis. I have now taught around 50 students with different study goals in both private and group lesson settings. Some wanted to stop struggling with school materials, some wanted to achieve distinction in Waterloo math contests, while some wanted to succeed in IB/AP.

Students come to me with different goals. Some want to stop struggling, some want to take their skills to the next level, some have little study time to work with, and some are taking preemptive measures for their future studies.
Did all of my students achieve their goals? Of course not! I realized that the success stories of my students have one quality in common: curiosity. They are not just looking for a quick way to improve their grades. They know that in order to achieve sustainable success in math-related subjects, they must be willing to find out the "why" behind the formulas instead of just memorizing the formulas.
My role is to provide thorough explanations, correct the mistakes, and be relentless in terms of implementing the study plan. My students would describe me as strict and direct as I never sugarcoat the feedbacks.
