Bonjour! I'm Madame Jiya, and I'm absolutely passionate about the French language and culture. Seeing the spark in my students' eyes when they grasp a new phrase or concept is what truly fuels me. Like when Aisha imagined herself atop the Eiffel Tower, I love watching how learning French opens up a whole new world for them. - My students at school often tell me that they love FRANCE (the country) and it’s their dream destination. Although they don’t know much about France, but just learning French the right way produced an exciting image of the country in their minds.
For instance, when we were learning about the Eiffel Tower in our textbook, one student, Aisha, exclaimed, "Wow, it's so beautiful! I can imagine myself standing at the top, looking out over Paris!" She then started asking me about the cafes and the food, and even tried to pronounce "croissant" with a perfect French accent. It wasn't just a lesson about a landmark; it was like she was experiencing a little piece of France right there in the classroom.
