About Rebecca
I have been teaching for 10+ years. I homeschooled both of my boys from ages 4 to 12 years. I have served as Adjunct Professor at 3 different colleges for classes of Abnormal Psychology, Perception, Research Methods, and Statistics. I have also served as a private school teacher for students in grades 5 to 9 for classes of Algebra and basic Mathematics, Spanish, English, Spanish, Science, and Social Studies. I have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (with a specialization in learning for exceptional students), and a Master's Degree in Cognitive Psychology (with a specialization in child development).

I have a Master's Degree in Cognitive Psychology, specializing in child development. I understand that everyone has their own unique method of learning; so that what works for one person may not work for another. Given this, I tailor each lesson to match each individual student's preferred method of learning. For example, for those students who work best with worksheets, I will provide individualized worksheets. And for those students who work best with audio/visual techniques, we can work together with auditory lectures, videos, or lessons on online blackboards.
