Hey Guys!
My name Is Uche. I currently study at Nottingham Trent University pursuing a degree in Law with Business!
I ensure that we have a blended type of learning! Us Gen Z's like to relate things to ourselves so why don't we incorporate that in our teaching to give us both a better understanding of the context at hand and give you the best opportunity and ways to remember information for your upcoming exams?
I love my chosen field of study because I have grown up to really like essay-style subjects, at GCSE I took History and RP which are both heavy essay-based subjects and then went on to take English Language and Sociology at A-Level. With that I have also loved the creative and poetic sides of English and how many doors it can open into the aspects, history and knowledge of just one word.

My Session will go as follows: 1 Hour Session for Example.
The first 5 minutes will be used dedicated to ensuring that my student is fit and well to be in the lesson. To hear them also talk about their day and any issues they may face within the English teaching world. I am a great advocate for Mental Health and Wellbeing and believe that it is a very important step in the teaching of a student to ensure comfort within the lesson. I will also make it my goal to ensure they are good and happy to learn the English Language.
I would then dedicate the next 10 minutes to going through previous lessons and what has been taught. This could give me a clearer understanding of what they understand and what they do not understand which means I will be able to tailor their homework around what they may not have understood, therefore building their understanding behind the sub-topic on a gradual basis, even if it is applying 2/3 more extra questions on their homework or at the end to ensure they understand and they are not crammed with information.
The next 40 minutes will be dedicated to the lesson outline itself and ensuring that the lesson is met within the desired time.
The last 5 minutes will be used to 'cool down', this will allow me and the student to munderstand where they have excelled and where they think they may need more help.
