My name is Julia and I am 16 years old, I am currently in year 12 studying biology, psychology and criminology. I took health and social care, French, history and computer science for GCSE. I have done work experience and helped out quite often at my local primary school and it was so fun. I want to start tutoring because I believe it is an extremely rewarding job.

A typical lesson would last for 1 hour and are for children aged 6-13. I would start off by teaching the English alphabet and then teach the most common words or phrases (like "hello", "goodbye", etc.), after that I would introduce listening and speaking skills. I will also do mini vocab tests every other lesson to check understanding.

My children are learning English with Julia, and as a Polish mum, I’m really happy with their lessons. Julia is professional, warm and engaging, with a great sense of humour. The kids enjoy learning with her, and I can see real progress. Highly recommended!
I have had my son go to lessons with Julia for a year now and his English has improved so much he is feeling so much more confident in speaking English now he can talk to his friends at school without feeling self conscious, Julia is a great help and I hope you consider letting her teach your child.
Julia is a very reliable, patient, and calm person. I have known her for 2 years. My daughter benefited enormously. She is more confident with English. It is great that Julia speaks Polish as well, as it makes it so much easier for my daughter to ask questions when she is not sure about something. Highly recommended.
Julia is a very kind, patient person, she is so passionate about what she does and is always willing to help
She never gets angry or frustrated, she knows how to handle a situation professionally.View more recommendations
