My name is Jon, and I have been playing guitar for over ten years. I have played guitar for bands, at church, and even sitting by the campfire with good friends. My hope is that you will learn music and love it as much as I do. The ability to play even simple chords and songs makes the instrument fun and valuable to have nearby. Students will learn proper finger placement, how to hold the instrument, basic chords and scales and even some cool guitar riffs to make your guitar playing sound awesome! Students will also learn basic tunings, songs, and scales to help exercise those fingers and make them strong and flexible preparing them for further learning of the instrument.
