About Sam
I am outdoor educator who has lived on Surfcoast and instructed various activities for over 20 years as well as running my own outdoor adventure company. My main passion is the ocean and I enjoy helping people safely learn more about one of the biggest inspirations in my life , surfing. With up to date surf coach accreditation, surf lifesaving, first aid and police checks... the choice is in your hands... let’s hit the waves.

My teaching method is to ask people what they know and then build on this ensuring safety ,fun and learning.. in that order are the top priorities. I like to talk people through new skills as well as demonstrating and believe time in the water is the best way to learn.

1-2 hour lessons seem to work best for new clients. I can also offer a range of equipment ; wetsuits and surfboards for small extra fee if required. Happy to tailor an experience to suit your needs.
