About Jinhui
I am a dedicated musician and educator with a Master's degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, specializing in drumming. My journey into music began nearly a decade ago, driven by a deep passion for rhythm and expression. Over the years, this passion has not only shaped my career but has also instilled a profound desire to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for music with others.
Teaching for me is more than imparting skills; it's about inspiring a new generation of musicians. I believe in nurturing the musicality in each individual, allowing them to find their voice through the drums. This belief stems from my own experiences where my mentors played pivotal roles in my development, not just as a musician but as a person. They taught me the importance of discipline, the excitement of creative exploration, and the joy of achieving mastery over a challenging piece.
I choose to teach because I want to give back to the musical community that has enriched my life so profoundly. Each lesson is an opportunity to connect with my students, understand their unique musical journeys, and guide them through their challenges and successes. I aim to create an environment that is both educational and emotionally supportive, where students feel motivated and equipped to pursue their musical passions.
Ultimately, my goal as a teacher is to foster a lasting appreciation for music and to cultivate skilled musicians who are as passionate about playing and performance as they are about continuous learning and growth. With a Master’s degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, my educational background has equipped me with advanced pedagogical skills. I have extensive experience in one-on-one settings with both adults and children, as well as managing larger groups ranging from 5 to 8 participants. My approach is adaptive, ensuring that each student's educational and emotional needs are met, fostering a supportive and productive learning environment.

My drum lessons are tailored for students aged 5 years and older, catering to all skill levels.
