About Taylor
As a current student at UT Austin studying finance, math, and computer science, I have always had a passion for learning. Not content to simply absorb information, I have made it my mission to help others learn as well. Over the past few years, I have been teaching small groups of friends in college in these subjects, and I have found that I really enjoy helping others understand complex concepts.
I am always striving to learn more and to deepen my understanding of these subjects. I believe that this passion for learning is what sets me apart as a tutor. When I work with students, I aim to inspire confidence in their abilities and to help them establish a solid foundation of knowledge.
As a professional tutor, I take pride in my work and always strive to maintain a high level of professionalism. - As a visual and hands-on teacher, I would use a combination of visual aids and interactive tools to help explain complex financial, computer science, and mathematical concepts. My teaching methods would involve little lecturing and more practice-based learning, allowing students to ask questions and participate in Q&A sessions.
- My typical lesson plan would involve an introduction to the topic followed by a hands-on practice session. During the practice session, I would provide students with various problem sets and encourage them to work through the problems with my guidance.
