I'm Jeanette, a TEFL and ESL-certified tutor with a Bachelor's degree, and I specialize in helping learners who haven't succeeded with traditional methods. I use the Science of Reading approach — explicit phonics, phonological awareness, and multi-sensory techniques — proven to work for struggling readers, including those with dyslexia or learning differences. What a Typical Lesson Looks Like Every session includes a warm-up to activate prior knowledge, a focused skill-building segment in phonics, spelling, or writing, and guided practice with real-time feedback.
