About Ellen

Consider me your peer student but with ample experience. Having written my A-level finals this summer, my memories of subject contents and studying methods are the freshest before I go into undergraduate studies. Tutoring will not be just another dose-off session with me. Let me be your support system in the midst of academic chaos, whether you wish to improve your grades, revise subject content, or simply form a healthier approach towards learning. Trust me, I will give my all not to let you down!

- My lessons last from 1-2 hrs depending on individual needs and lesson focuses. (e.g., Subject-centered lessons will take longer than intense resit prep lessons in which we will focus on going over past paper homeworks.) - I use both self-made resources and published workbooks accordingly to cater best to each student. - Interaction is key! I put healthy pressure on students with questions, and students are also encouraged to pester me with "why?"s. - I teach IGCSE and A-level students, and senior high school students in need of personal statement writing support. - English lessons are not limited to IGCSE and A-level students. - I have 1.5+ years of teaching experience from when I was studying in Korea to constant primary mentoring in EtonHouse International @ Orchard.
