About Mary-Kate
I am a qualified secondary school PE teacher.
I spent most of my youth as an elite swimmer for Ireland, therefore my passion for sports and PE has always been a part of my life. I have a love for teaching and helping others achieve their goals in education and in sport. I am tutoring in my spare time as I am still full time in school, however my time will become more free once the summer holidays begin.
I like to have fun with my teaching style to help my students retain the information and to find it relatable. I like to use a number of methods such as exam questions, memory recall tests, and verbal explanations (to name a few). If you are interested, then please don't hesitate to get in touch!

I am a qualified teacher of 2 years and can cover a variety of levels (GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, IGCSE etc). I have experience with a number of exam boards such as AQA, CCEA and Cambridge IGCSE.
Typical length of a lesson is around 1 hour.
I have experience as an online TEFL tutor and some experience tutoring GCSE PE online. But the majority of my experience comes from being in school. I am able to teach theoretical content, aid with exam technique and help with coursework elements. I like to teach in a positive and enthusiastic manner so that my students feel relaxed and ready to learn.
