About Harry
Kia ora, I’m Harry Townsend. I’m from Motueka and currently studying Speech-Language Therapy, with a background in Communication. I’m passionate about language in all its forms—how we express ourselves, connect with others, and grow through learning. I’m learning te reo Māori and committed to creating culturally safe spaces where people feel supported to be themselves. I’m especially interested in working alongside neurodivergent learners and helping them find ways to thrive through flexible, responsive teaching. I love seeing people grow in confidence—whether that’s through improving their writing, finding their creative voice, or building clearer, more effective communication. Teaching is a way for me to share what I care about while creating space for others to succeed in their own way.

I work collaboratively with learners to help them discover their voice—whether in academic writing, spoken communication, or creative expression—while maintaining a strong focus on skill development and personal growth.
