Heather Courage lead the training, upskilling and development of a team which went from novices to on-the-job doers in very short time frames. Heather is patient, attentive and focuses on the details that really matter, and manages to explain conplex technical concepts is an easy-to-understand way. Heather has helped many students while mentoring, and was often the preferred tutor and mentor by student groups when they were allowed to choose their mentor. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone who wants to learn fast, and doing it right first time.

Heather is an excellent tutor. Down to earth and patient, she took the time to help me understand the process, and why we do things in a certain way to work alongside the industrial standard methodology. If you want to level up your 3D character designs and get into the industry, I highly recommend you start your journey with Heather.

The best part about Heather as a tutor is that she was able to break down and communicate the complexities of the subject in such a relaxed way, whilst making sure I understood and could replicate the work.

At no point did I feel stupid because I couldn't do something or wasn't understanding it, she was really attentive to how (as a neurospicy person) I learnt and shaped her approach to suit. And made the learning process a really engaging and rewarding experience.

I was a student when Heather got her TA (Technical Assistant) role at CG Spectrum and I had the absolute joy of learning sculpting from her, from the absolute basics of navigating and customizing the UI of ZBrush to brushes and sculpting techniques with a strong focus on cloth and utilizing masking to the fullest!

Along with that Heather has an amazing eye for detail and areas that require improvement, all the work I've provided for her to review came back with detailed notes and draw overs to help take the project to it's fullest potential and of course in the event that I didn't know how to implement those changes she was happy to guide me through the process!

Lastly one of the biggest reasons I recommend Heather is because she has an amazing way of grabbing and keeping the intention of whoever she's tutoring and making sure they're keeping up with what's being instructed which is an amazing skill to have!

But there to guide you through all of that madness, to give you strength and wisdom to push on, overcome every obstacle, every mind-numbing fear, every life-threatening situation, is your mentor, the mighty wizard Gandalf.

That's Heather! Heather is your Gandalf! She is wise, experienced, patient and a lot of fun! She is capable of turning anyone willing to learn into the best 3D Graphics Designer in Middle-Earth!

Heather is a very talented 3D artist AND and a good communicator. She is very direct, so you will rarely be confused by her instruction. She is also a lovely human being.

I first met Heather when she still was a training advisor for an online school, after I had taken a 3 year break from any creative work. Thanks to her encouragement and feedback I was able to start doing 3D work again, which in turn led me to gain an Exellence award during Rookies ;)
