  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

    I developed an interest in physiology during my undergraduate studies in biology. I was fascinated by how the human body works - not just the structures, but the dynamic processes behind every breath, heartbeat, and neural impulse. It felt like unlocking the code to life itself. The more I studied, the more I appreciated how interconnected our bodily systems are, and that curiosity grew into a deep passion.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

    What excites me most about physiology is its relevance to real life. Understanding how the body functions helps explain health, disease, exercise, and even emotions. It bridges theory and practice - something I find incredibly rewarding. Every time I teach a concept and see a student connect it to their own experiences or career goals, it reignites my own enthusiasm for the subject.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

    I love the one-on-one aspect of tutoring. It allows me to tailor my teaching to each student's learning style, helping them to grasp concepts more effectively and build confidence. I consider myself a "Superprof" because I go beyond just delivering content - I aim to make the subject approachable, engaging and even fun. My goal is not only to improve grades but to inspire a genuine understanding and curiosity.
  • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

    Yes, I had an Anatomy and Physiology professor in undergrad who made every lecture feel like an exploration rather than a lesson. He was so incredibly knowledgeable but also approachable and passionate. His ability to explain complex topics clearly and her encouragement to ask questions shaped my own approach to teaching. He showed me the value of making students feel empowered and heard.
  • What are your keys to success?

    My keys to success are preparation, adaptability and empathy. I always come to lessons well-prepared, but I'm also ready to shift gears if a student needs a different approach. I listen closely to their concerns and challenges, and I make sure to celebrate small wins. Success in tutoring isn't just about academic improvement, it's about helping students believe in their own ability to succeed.
