About Megan
After studying Spanish in high school and majoring in it in college, I reached fluency by living in Latin America, including a year in Colombia and 5 months in Argentina. For listening practice, for example, I incorporate fill-in-the-blank activities to popular songs, to get the students engaged and familiar with the type of Spanish they're likely already hearing on a regular basis. My strength lies in having learned Spanish within multiple contexts (having lives/spent time in Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and Spain) and thus being adept at contextualized approaches to language learning.
