About Patricia
I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. I started tutoring other kids when I was sixteen, merely as a hobby, and discovered I loved teaching. I've kept on giving private lessons, both in English and Spanish, since then, but when I was twenty I started teaching babies and kids in an English academy and ended up becoming the teacher trainer and pedagogical coordinator.
Throughout the years I have also taught small groups of adults, from all different backgrounds and levels. Since I moved to the UK I haven't stopped working with all age groups. I can adapt to what you want to focus on and, above all, I like to make my lessons fun!

I like to focus on what the student wants to work on by making motivation and fun a key part of the lesson, but I also think that theory and a good base are really important to speak a language properly.
When it comes to kids I have always taught with a controlled play and Montessori like style, since I believe it is the best methodology for most of kids, but of course I adapt to each students needs.

Even though my rate per hour is 40 pounds, I have discounts for couples, making it 60 an hour, and groups, 3 people 70, and 4 people 80. I don't accept bigger groups online, since I think it is really hard for people to get the attention they deserve.
