• 1) Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  My first experience using a computer was nothing short of magical. I remember being a curious ten-year-old, exploring the endless possibilities on an old Windows XP machine. The moment I discovered the paint program, I was hooked. It was incredible to see my ideas come to life on the screen, and from that moment, I knew that technology would be a big part of my life. That early interaction ignited a passion for learning and creating that still drives me today.

• 2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  The technological evolution that has marked me the most is undoubtedly the rise of the Internet. It transformed how we live, learn, and connect with the world. Looking forward, I believe the next major turning point will be the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning. These technologies have the potential to revolutionize industries, solve complex global challenges, and improve our daily lives in ways we can't even imagine yet. The future of technology is incredibly bright, and I'm excited to be part of this journey.

• 3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  My expertise lies in software development, with a strong focus on web technologies and data science. I am deeply passionate about harnessing the power of data to make smarter decisions and create innovative solutions. This field is crucial in the computer world because it drives progress in every industry, from healthcare to finance, making our lives easier and more efficient. Being able to contribute to such transformative work is both fulfilling and motivating.

• 4) Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  While visionaries like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg are incredibly inspiring, my true role model is Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux. His dedication to open-source software and his contributions to the tech community have profoundly influenced my approach to technology. Linus Torvalds exemplifies how passion, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence can lead to groundbreaking achievements. His story reminds me that anyone, regardless of their background, can make a significant impact on the world.

• 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my college years, I participated in a 24-hour hackathon where our team decided to build a real-time traffic monitoring system using publicly available data. Despite numerous obstacles and moments of uncertainty, we managed to create a functional prototype. This experience taught me the power of perseverance, teamwork, and the incredible satisfaction of turning an idea into reality under pressure. It was a defining moment that reinforced my belief in the importance of pushing boundaries and embracing challenges.

• 6) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I would say that feeling overwhelmed is completely natural, but remember that IT is a journey, not a destination. Every expert was once a beginner, facing the same challenges. Start small, focus on learning one concept at a time, and celebrate your progress along the way. Embrace curiosity and don't be afraid to ask for help. The beauty of technology is that it's always evolving, and there's always something new to learn. You have the potential to master IT, one step at a time.

• 7) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  Outside of my passion for technology, I have a deep love for playing the guitar. Music has always been a source of relaxation and creativity for me. Strumming the strings and composing melodies helps me unwind and provides a perfect balance to the logical and structured world of IT. It's amazing how music and technology can intertwine, and I often find inspiration in one that fuels my creativity in the other.
